Maggie Begley, President

Before launching MBC in 1992, Maggie Begley was Senior Vice-President in the Entertainment Division of Rogers & Cowan one of the largest and most influential entertainment public relations firms in the world. She has held senior executive positions at Warner Bros. and the NBC Television Network and was Executive Vice-President and head of the Entertainment division of Mahoney/Wasserman & Associates.  

Ms. Begley and MBC’s senior staff have represented personally, or created and supervised the campaigns for, numerous motion pictures, television shows, studios, production companies, broadcast and cable networks, talent agencies, non-profit organizations, book publishers, celebrities, sporting events, awards shows, restaurants and hotels, as well as major corporations with a significant entertainment presence.

 
Laurane Sheehan, Senior Account Executive

Laurane Sheehan, originally from Washington, DC, has worked in publicity and public relations since 1995. She was the first Executive Director of the Music Video Producers Association and the Executive Producer of the MVPA Awards. It was during the MVPA’s early years that she brought global awareness to the MVPA through international publicity, increasing its worldwide membership and promoting standards and practice within the music video industry. She’s worked for Mahoney/Wasserman, been a Director for corporate publicity at PMK/HBH and has worked for MBC as an Account Executive for several years. Laurane has been responsible for coordinating international press junkets and publicity events at the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance and aboard some of the world’s premiere mega-yachts on the French Riviera at the Cannes Film Festival.

Today, CNN, GMA, Entertainment Tonight, and FOX among many other TV and radio outlets, promoting works such as 60 Minutes: 25 Years of Television's Finest Hour and 
America On Wheels, the companion book to the acclaimed three-part PBS series.
